I've seen other people featuring artists in their journals, and lately I've been feeling generous so I figure I'd start doing something like that too.

So... here goes.

I'm not going to set up a limit of users who can 'apply' (because I think it's pretty selfish to make people race to be the 'first ten/twenty/whatever'), but I will say that you might be waiting awhile to get featured depending on how many people actually respond to this.

Reply saying you'd like to be featured, and give me the URL of a picture(or writing, if that's your style of art) you consider your favorite/best work.

I plan to do one every week or so, at least until this sub runs out if I don't have the funds to renew it.

Also, I am open for commissions. Prices are as follows*:

* = All prices are for single character with single pose drawings only with no background and few to minimal added features such as vehicles, animals, moderate to extremely complex weapons, etc. Added features, added characters and/or poses, and background options will cost extra and can be discussed on an individual basis.

Payment Options

I accept PayPal, Money Orders (Walmart sells them for $1 up to $1500), and Cash only. Payment will be in full upfront unless otherwise discussed with updates on progression of the commission whenever the commissioner politely asks, with a heavily 'stamped'** status image.

** = 'Stamped' means that the image will have a very gaudy and disruptive 'watermark' or signature stamp on it, making the drawing completely undesirable if used in that state though allowing enough good parts of the image to be seen to allow the commissioner a preview on how the work on the image is progressing. Minor stamped images will displayed in my gallery to prevent theft, whereas unstamped versions of the image will be given to the commissioner upon final approval of completion.

Refunds

Full refunds will only be given for items under $8, with partial refunds dependent on my decision following orders $8 and over. All refunds must be discussed with me first, as any 'sneaky' refund methods (such as going to the bank/credit union and demanding a 'stop payment' or refund) will be documented and reported to said institutions to demand repayment of the commission fee as well as any expenses garnered from documenting, notarizing, filing, and fees from said banks/credit unions or paypal. Please see documentation disclaimer below for details.

All refunds will be made in the cheapest way possible, with expenses to issuing the refund being taken out of the refund total. That means if you order a picture priced for $5 and it costs me $1.00 for a money order, you will only receive $4, because $5 - $1 = $4. If paypal charges a $.30 fee for the refund, you will only receive $4.70 because $5 - $.30 = $4.70.

For all orders $8 and over with partial refunds, I will also hand over any work completed on the drawing.

Work Status

Work on the image will occur on a step by step basis with work being discontinued until approval of the commissioner is achieved before being continued again. This means that if you order a fully colored digital drawing, I will show you a preliminary sketch and wait for your approval and continue to the lineart once I get said approval, or I will simply shove the commission to the wayside and move on to other tasks until such a time that you finally approve or disapprove of the sketch. I will keep ALL payments for ALL commissions until such a time that a refund is requested. If you never give me a status update and never ask for a refund, I will not finish your drawing and I will not give you a refund. Any extra efforts made to contact you will be by my own discretion and I am NOT obligated to do so.

Scheduling

Depending on the commission requested, time to complete it may change though I do not expect more than a few days for a fully colored full bodied and moderately detailed piece, with exception to unavoidable events that would otherwise cause delays or even utter destruction of the work in progress. Time will be discussed on a one on one basis, including any requests for a deadline, rushed work, etc.

Please remember that I am only doing this as a sidejob, not a career. I will have things like school and my main place of employment putting demands on my time and will put those first before commissions. If you have a problem with this and have commissioned me, I will fulfill any refund requests made as per the refund policy.

Prints and Other Services

If you wish to have a print or some other item with your commissioned work on it, I offer two choices:

1) Agree and allow usage of your commissioned piece in its finalized and non-stamped form to be used in the DeviantArt Prints Service.

2) Discuss on a per case basis to take the commissioned piece to an outside printing service and cover any and all services rendered in the printing and shipping process.

Both options can be discussed with me one on one to determine which is the better and/or cheaper way for you to go.

Documentation

I will be documenting all e-mails and notes sent to me regarding commissions with both text copies as well as printscreens. This includes all contact in regards to setting up the commission, paypal notification e-mails, scans of money orders, photographs of cash payments, contact in regards to work status, and contact in regards to final approval or requests for refunds.

Due to the fact that friends of mine have been screwed over by sneaky con-artists who went to their banks to ask for refunds which resulted in the freezing of their paypal accounts as well as several expensive charges, I will keep EVERYTHING documented and saved for up to 6 months after commission purchase and I will also charge the commissioner for:

Repayment of the commission.
Printing fees.
Notarization fees.
Gasoline usage.
Paypal charges.
Fax document fees.
A $9.50 per hour fee for time rendered during the acquisition of all needed documents and performed services to dispute fraudulent/sneaky refund requests that resulted in charges and expenses previously unforseen.
A $5 per week added charge for every week repayment not received upon the next business day for the bank/credit union that the refund was forcibly made through.
Any and all other expenses associated with the commission, commissioner, and the charges acquired through fraudulent refunds made.

All documentation will be kept for 6 months, which goes far beyond the refund request and issuance timetable that any bank/credit union or financial institution employs. So, if you decide to be sneaky and ask for a refund at the last possibly second for your bank of choice, be aware that I will still have all the documentation I need to counteract your request and charge you for any services rendered.

Chances are it will just be cheaper to not be sneaky.

As per my policy in assuming that anyone interested in commissioning art from me has read the above paragraphs and statements, upon contacting me for commission purposes, you agree to all the above terms and conditions on an 'as-is' basis.
