There's a set of novels that were commissioned by Ishiwatari Daisuke after Guilty Gear X came out. One was about Ky, the other was about Chipp. Chipp's explains his backstory on ho whe met his master, what happened, and why he ends up on his quest for revenge.... and in it, there's pictures of him in a rather nifty looking Shinobi outfit. Not the typical skin tight stuff most are used to seeing... and frankly, I prefer it.

THis was initially supposed to be a 'Rivals' picture, because I'm involved in a message board 'story contest'/RP thing where Chipp is my character, and as a result, I am writing his backstory. It follows the translated version of the original novel, but it expands on things more than the novel did. However, it is a fanfic still, and I've added in some of my own characters into it, mostly as fillers and little add ons to make things more interesting. One character is Keiji Mitsurugi, where had I finished drawing him, he'd be standing with his back faced to Chipp here, both giving each other the glare of death. I made Keiji up because while writing up a part of the fanfic, I decided that Chipp needed a reason to want to be so out to prove himself to be the best, and what better way to do that than to introduce someone who puts you beneath them, demeans you, and whom you want to constantly put in their place?
